Welcome to our support and advice section

Families are the foundation of society. All families should have access to non-judgemental support. Cat Scotland aims to transform the lives of families making happier relationships, happier families and a stronger society. Our experience enables us to help families with any problem or challenge that they face.  We offer all families and community members seeking this service free help or referral-where appropriate- in local community.

We encourage and welcome any community member in need of any of the services we provide to approach us without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, nationality, age, disability, race or of political, religious or other opinions. We network with the statutory authorities, voluntary and other specially trained organisations in a common effort and with the object of improving the conditions of life of local communities inhabitants.

We advise individuals and families who are involved with or need children’s services because of welfare needs or concerns. We promote policies and practices, including family group conferences, that help children to be raised safely and securely within their families, and campaign for effective support to assist family and friends carers, including grandparents who are raising children that cannot live at home.
